Reiki originates from an eastern ethos and the word itself translates as universal life (Rei) energy (Ki). Although I do work with the chakra system it is important to note that the foundations of Ki derive from Japanese and Chinese medicines and martial arts, whilst the origin of the chakra system and ethos of psychic-energy is Hindu and Tantric Buddhist. You may be familiar with some other common branches and techniques of energy healing and bodywork, Reiki is just one.

I subscribe to Usui Reiki Ryoho, the traditional school and practice of Reiki and I am Okuden (Level II) trained since 2016.

REIKI SHARES

Reiki circles are peer spaces for Reiki practitioners of all levels to come together for the purpose of learning and developing skills in a collaborative and safe space. This is an experiential gathering consisting of building knowledge, sharing of industry updates and research, practising Reiki on one another in small and large groups, when held online this will be distanced practice.
