I take into account the biological, psychological, social (systemic and spiritual) aspects of your difficulties. Typically people find themselves at a crossroads due to a life adjustment which can occur at multiple points across the lifespan. My face-to-face sessions can be taken indoors however I also offer outdoor ‘nature’ therapy and walk and talk options considering privacy and confidentiality. We will formulate collaboratively to understand your difficulties before adopting evidence and practice-based interventions in alignment with your goals.

Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) is considered more of a feeling therapy, known to help people process and heal from traumatic memories, distressing life events and anxieties. Theoretical research on the approach is evolving however it is a NICE recommended treatment for trauma. Bilateral stimulation may involve eye-tracking or tapping and the techniques can be amended for a variety for abilities.
